Wookco operates as an Impact-Linked Gateway dedicated to supporting the financial liquidity of local operators and communities. Our system is designed to provide Direct Payouts to partners within 24 hours of a confirmed booking. This allows our partners to manage resources and initiate social or environmental impact projects immediately.
Refunds for travelers are subject to the specific cancellation policy of each product (Partner’s Specific Policy) as follows:
2.1 Cancellation Window: Travelers must review the specific “Cancellation Policy” listed on the tour or activity page before booking (e.g., Free Cancellation 48 hours prior, Non-refundable, etc.).
2.2 Non-Refundable Fees: Wookco reserves the right to retain all System & Service Fees and Commissions in all circumstances. These fees cover the technological processing, administrative costs, and resource allocation initiated at the moment the booking was confirmed.
2.3 Full Refund Scenario: In cases where a Partner’s policy offers a “100% Full Refund,” the traveler will receive a 100% refund of the total amount paid. However, the Partner shall be responsible for covering the non-refundable commission portion as outlined in Section 3.
Since Wookco transfers net earnings to the Partner within 24 hours (with commission already deducted), the following terms apply in the event of a cancellation:
3.1 Commission Liability: The Partner acknowledges that Wookco’s commission is non-refundable to the Partner. If the Partner chooses to offer a “Full Refund” to the customer, the Partner agrees to bear the cost of the commission previously retained by Wookco to ensure the customer receives their total payment back.
3.2 Payout Clawback: Upon a valid cancellation, the Partner is obligated to return the full booking amount (including the commission difference) to Wookco. Wookco will then process the refund to the traveler through the original payment method.
3.3 Credit Balance & Offsetting: Wookco reserves the right to deduct any outstanding refund debts from the Partner’s future booking earnings (Credit Balance) until the debt is fully settled.
In the event of cancellations caused by external factors beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or other “Act of God” events:
Wookco and the Partner will collaborate to find the most equitable solution (e.g., rescheduling the service or issuing a partial refund).
Wookco may, at its sole discretion, consider waiving or adjusting fees to support both the Partner and the traveler during such emergencies.
Should a conflict arise between a traveler and a Partner regarding refund eligibility:
The terms stated on the product page at the time of booking shall serve as the primary reference.
Wookco shall act as a Mediator to resolve the dispute. The final decision made by Wookco regarding the refund shall be binding and final.
