Wookco Impact Policy

1. Our Core Philosophy

Wookco believes that travel should be a force for “Regeneration,” not just visitation. We aim to build a travel ecosystem that restores local communities and natural resources through our Impact-Linked Travel model. Every booking made through our platform must tangibly support social or environmental projects.

2. The Impact Loop Categories

Partners joining Wookco must commit to supporting at least one of the following categories within their activities:

  • Community Empowerment: Direct employment of local residents, utilizing community guides, or funneling revenue into local shops and micro-enterprises.

  • Environmental Restoration: Biodiversity conservation, reforestation, zero-waste management, or the use of renewable energy in tour operations.

  • Cultural Preservation: Promoting and protecting local heritage, traditions, and indigenous wisdom through respectful educational experiences.

3. True Impact Certification

To ensure absolute transparency, Partners will be awarded certification status based on the following criteria:

  • Evidence-Based Reporting: Partners are required to submit proof of their impact activities (e.g., photos, payment receipts to communities, or waste reduction metrics) via the Partner Hub periodically.

  • Verification Process: The Wookco team will audit the submitted data before issuing the True Impact Badge, ensuring travelers that their money is creating real change.

  • Impact Score: Our system calculates an “Impact Score” based on the proportion of revenue or activities dedicated to restoration, which is displayed on the Partner’s profile.

4. Financial Accountability
  • Wookco supports Partner liquidity with our 24-hour Payout System, ensuring Partners have the necessary cash flow to sustain their impact projects without delay.

  • Partners confirm that the agreed-upon Impact Contribution percentage will be delivered to the specified projects or individuals as stated in the product description.

5. Code of Conduct for Partners
  • No Greenwashing: Partners must not provide false or exaggerated information regarding their environmental or social activities.

  • Ethical Treatment: Treat local people and wildlife with dignity, ensuring human rights and animal welfare are respected at every stage of service.

  • Continuous Improvement: Partners agree to continuously improve their sustainability standards in collaboration with guidance provided by Wookco.

6. Policy Compliance

Wookco reserves the right to suspend Partner accounts or revoke certifications if a Partner is found to be in serious violation of this Impact Policy. This is necessary to maintain the trust of the Wookco network and conscious travelers worldwide.
