Discover the authentic side of Bangkok through the historic Thonburi district — a side of the city most visitors never find. Your journey starts on two wheels. Ride through quiet backstreets, past working temples and small local communities that see very few tourists. The pace is relaxed, the sois are shaded, and your guide knows every shortcut.

Pedal through peaceful farm areas and catch the local train passing right alongside you — one of those simple moments that stays with you. Halfway through, park your bike and step aboard a traditional longtail boat. The canal cruise takes you through narrow inner waterways lined with wooden houses and waterside life that has barely changed in decades.

After the boat, continue to a local restaurant for a freshly cooked Thai dish — Pad Kra Pao, Pad Thai, or whatever is good that day. On the afternoon departure, you may also pass through a lively local market and see daily life in full swing before heading back.

The full experience runs 4 to 4.5 hours, with a maximum of 8 guests per group.

Bike Back to Candbike HQ

A short final ride back through Thonburi. Return bikes and helmets at the shop. Tour ends at 95 Ratchaphruek Rd, Bukkhalo.

Who Can Join

Suitable for all fitness levels, ages 8 to 75+. Easy flat route at a relaxed pace.
⚠ Must be able to ride a bicycle independently — we are unable to teach cycling on the day. Not sure? Contact us before booking.
Children welcome from age 5 with a child seat — share your child's age when booking.

What to Wear & Bring

No dress code — wear whatever you're comfortable in. Bring sunscreen, your phone or camera, a cap for sunny days, and a small amount of cash for food and drink stops along the way. Everything else is provided.
